FAQ's

Q: How many photos will I receive from my session? A: The number of photos varies depending on the type and length of session, the tone of the couple or event, and any special details involved. For portrait sessions, you can generally expect a minimum of 50-100 edited images, while for weddings or larger events, I typically provide a minimum of 300+ images. I include every image I deem artistically worthy, capturing both the big moments and the small, candid details, so you receive a collection that truly represents the essence of your session.

Q: How do payments work for my portrait session? A: To secure your session, a $150 non-refundable retainer is required. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your scheduled session.

Q:How do I receive my photos after the session? A:You’ll receive an online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos. Prints can also be ordered directly from the gallery.

Q: Can I request specific photos during a session? A: Absolutely! I encourage you to share your vision for the session beforehand. During the shoot, I’ll guide you, but feel free to let me know if there’s something specific you’d like to try.

Q: What if the weather doesn’t cooperate for my outdoor session? A: If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll stay in touch and decide together whether to move forward or reschedule. I’m happy to reschedule at no additional cost - at the earliest available date that works for both of us - to ensure the best possible experience and final images. If your event is a wedding and the weather takes a turn, don’t worry - I come prepared with creative tricks and techniques to still capture beautiful, memorable images. From using covered areas and moody lighting to playing up the romance of rain, we’ll make the most of whatever the day brings.

Q: How do payments work for my wedding package? A: To reserve your date, a non-refundable retainer of $500 is required. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. If you prefer, we can set up a payment plan for the balance leading up to the wedding. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Q: Do you offer albums or prints? A: Yes! I offer beautiful custom-designed wedding albums and can help you select prints. I also provide digital files for easy sharing and archiving.

Q: Who is your second shooter? A: I work with a few trusted second shooters depending on the needs of the wedding day, but most often, my second shooter is actually my husband - which makes our partnership extra seamless. We have a natural rhythm and unspoken communication that allows us to anticipate moments without even saying a word. He brings over eight years of experience in photo and video production, with a background in both commercial and cinematic work. He’s contributed to major productions like "The Walking Dead" and "Dallas," so he knows how to capture moments with a storyteller’s eye and a cinematic touch. Having someone I trust both professionally and personally by my side helps ensure we’re capturing every angle and emotion of your day - beautifully and efficiently.

Q: Are there any additional fees for shooting at certain venues or locations? A: Some locations require photography permits or venue rental fees. These are not included in the session price and are the responsibility of the client. Once a location is selected, I’ll provide all the necessary details. The venue fee must be paid directly by the client to avoid extra processing or tax-related costs.

Q: Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples? A: Absolutely - love is love, and all are welcome here. I’m proud to provide an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ couples and families. Your story deserves to be celebrated exactly as it is, and I’d be honored to capture it.

Q: Don’t see what you need? A: Whether it's a party, corporate event, branding or product photography, or something totally unique like an elopement or intimate ceremony, I’d love to hear about it! Custom packages are always available to fit your needs. Just reach out, and we can create something special together!
